Help / MyWhoosh
MyWhoosh & SpinScience
What linking your MyWhoosh account does, step by step — try it below with demo data.
What you get
- Your FTP on the booking page — judge each class against your own numbers, and coaches plan sessions around them.
- Your stats on your profile — FTP, watts-per-kilo, best-power curve and lifetime distance, refreshed whenever you like.
- A head start on coaching — the same numbers feed future SpinScience coaching features as they land.
Try it — interactive walkthrough
This is a working replica of the real screens with demo data. Click around freely — nothing here touches MyWhoosh or your account.
A brand-new member signs in with an email code and lands on their profile with this welcome. No extra sign-up forms — linking MyWhoosh is offered right here, but always optional.
Welcome to SpinScience! 🚴
Add your name below so coaches know who's riding, and link your MyWhoosh account to get FTP-based class targets and ride stats on your profile. Then head to Book a ride.
Booking here → riding on MyWhoosh
You book your class here, then ride it on MyWhoosh. The two work together:
- Book the class on the Book page (1 credit). Your FTP shows right there so you can judge the intensity.
- At class time, ride it on MyWhoosh— open the MyWhoosh app on your trainer, and you'll find the SpinScience session under the day's rides.
- Coming soon: booked classes will drop straight into your MyWhoosh calendarat the right time, so it's one tap to start — no hunting. Cancel here and it clears there too.
The MyWhoosh Link app (your companion)
MyWhoosh Linkis MyWhoosh's free companion app — it runs on your phone (or Apple TV) alongside your ride and makes classes far more social. Search “MyWhoosh Link” on the App Store or Google Play.
- Live numbers in your hand — power, heart rate, cadence and speed as you ride, without squinting at the main screen.
- Ride together — message the group in real time and, on Link, jump on a team voice call with your fellow riders and the coach.
- Events & calendar— find and register for rides, and see what's coming up.
- Sensor bridge— if your main device can't see your heart-rate strap or trainer, Link can pass them through over Bluetooth.
Setting it up:
- Install MyWhoosh Link and log in with the same MyWhoosh account you ride and book with.
- Keep your riding device and the Link phone on the same Wi-Fi network (same 2.4 GHz / 5 GHz band).
- Start your SpinScience ride on MyWhoosh as usual — Link picks it up automatically and shows your live data and the group chat/call.
Team rides from home — new ✨
We're trialing something new: join a SpinScience team ride even when you're not at the studio.Everyone rides the same MyWhoosh route at the same time — together — whether you're on the studio floor or on your own trainer at home.
- Book your spot here as normal — that reserves your place and credit. The riding happens on MyWhoosh.
- Join on MyWhoosh: log in, connect your trainer, tap Let's Go, and find the SpinScience ride under Upcoming Events. A Participate button appears about 90 minutes before — tap it, and the ride auto-starts ~30 seconds before the off.
- Stay connected as a team— open the Link app's team call so the coach can lead the effort and you can cheer each other on the climbs.
Your password and your data
- Your MyWhoosh password is sent to MyWhoosh once to sign you in, then discarded. It is never stored or logged by SpinScience.
- We keep an encrypted access key issued by MyWhoosh (it expires by itself after about two weeks) and a snapshot of your stats.
- Disconnect any time on your profile — the key and all synced stats are deleted immediately.
- MyWhoosh doesn't offer an official partner API, so this link uses the same interface the MyWhoosh app itself uses. If MyWhoosh changes it, your stats simply pause at the last sync until we catch up — bookings are never affected.
